The DCA Sprayshop analyser is a multi function test meter that is designed to carry out various critical tests for all companies operating powder-coating or flock shops. The measurements that can be performed with this instrument are as follows; High Voltage, Temperature, Current and Continuity.

The DCA Sprayshop analyser is a multi function meter that is designed to carry out various critical tests for all companies operating powder-coating or flock shops. It has a large illuminated easy to read digital LCD and key selected individual functions. The tests that can be performed by this instrument are shown below:

 

High voltage
An accurate register of voltage at the gun tip up to 150kv. The monitoring of gun voltage provides an early warning before failure. The same probe may also be used to check high voltage leakage from powder guns, consoles and HT cables. Three probes are available to load the system during measurement.

Thermometer
The digital thermometer operates up to 1250ºC. A surface contact probe is provided as standard so the temperature of an object can be measured before it goes into the oven to ensure sufficient time is allowed for it to reach its curing temperature.

Current measurement
The optional current probe allows the charging current in automatic systems to be monitored.

Earthing
A continuity check of less than 10 MΩ by means of an audible and visual signal. It will detect if almost any earth exists from object, jig etc. so as to ensure better powder attraction and less over spray.
